The SEEE awards two types of master's degrees in EE, i.e., research-oriented and engineering-oriented.

The research-oriented master program emphasizes academic knowledge and skills, in preparation for further PhD studies or engagement in work of research institutes. The engineering-oriented master program is designed to deepen student's technical knowledge and sharpen their professional skills for a well-prepared entry into the industry.

Twenty-four (24) credits are required for the degree courses of the master program. A total of 55 graduate-level courses are offered in the SEEE, including 10 general education courses, 17 EE specialized courses, 28 professional elective courses. The required coursework is customized based on the students' technical interests and advisors' research focuses.
