Four SEEE scholars named as Highly Cited Chinese Researchers of 2020 by Elsevier

On April 22, 2021, Elsevier, a global information analysis company officially released the list of "2020 Highly Cited Chinese Researchers".


A total of 77 scholars from our university were on the list. Among them, 4 scholars were from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. There are Professors Lu Xinpei, Lin Xiangning, Hu Jiabing and Associate Professor Chen Cangsong. Meanwhile, 5 alumni from SEEE such as Wu Qinghua, Ruan Xinbo, Jiang Quanyuan, Cao Yijia and Jiang Chuanwen were also selected into the list of 2020 Highly Cited Chinese Researchers in Electrical Engineering.


Elsevier‘’s List of Highly Cited Chinese Researchers was determined using data from Scopus, a highly regarded worldwide abstract and citation database. The list aims to credit individuals who are leading the world‘’s academic advancement through analyzing and rating the influence of Chinese scholars. This year marks the list‘’s 7th rendition since its first publication in 2015, which has attracted attention from media and scholars worldwide.


The inclusion in the list means that the researchers exert world-class influence in their research fields and their research achievements have made significant contributions to the development of the fields.
