In May 2019, Professor Qu Ronghai from the Innovative Motor Technology Research Center of SEEE was selected as the 2019 Outstanding Member of the IEEE Industrial Application Association.

Professor Qu Ronghai was awarded the Outstanding Membership Award for his contribution in guiding the student branch of IEEE Industrial Application Association (IEEE IAS Wuhan Student Branch Chapter Advisor).
