Professor Jose Rodriguez, Fellow of the Chilean Academy of Engineering, was invited by Professor Xu Wei of the Department of Electrical Engineering to visit our institute on June 6, 2019, and held an academic lecture filled with teachers and students at the A518 of the New Electric Building.

Dean Wen Jinyu firstly welcomed Professor Rodriguez on behalf of the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and awarded a visiting professor's letter of appointment to Professor Rodriguez, hoping that he can continue to support the future development of the school. Professor Rodriguez then began his academic lectures, which were divided into two parts, namely “Predictive Control in Power Electronics and Electrical Drives” and “How to Write High Quality Papers”.
